Cincinnati, OH - ProMach, Inc. announced today that its Wexxar Packaging division has acquired IPAK Machinery Ltd., a leading designer and manufacturer of corrugated tray forming solutions based in Vancouver, British Columbia.

"We are pleased to add the IPAK tray forming product line to Wexxar's existing case erecting and case sealing solutions and to the ProMach End-of-Line family of packaging products," said Mark Anderson, ProMach CEO. "We continually strive to improve our packaging solutions by upgrading our product line through development and acquisition and IPAK tray formers are proven, high quality solutions that match extremely well with Wexxar's exceptional RSC solutions. We will continue to invest in and develop the IPAK product line and, where appropriate, IPAK tray formers will be combined with other ProMach packaging equipment to form a complete integrated line. We're excited about offering IPAK's current and future customers a broader range of tray forming solutions and continuing and enhancing IPAK's excellent service and support."

With the acquisition of IPAK, Wexxar adds a durable line of fully automatic tray formers engineered to withstand heavy-duty applications for decades of reliable service. All of IPAK's standard models are quickly and easily adjusted to form a wide range of tray sizes. Unique features are engineered into IPAK tray formers to produce a level of efficiency and reliability that is unmatched by competitors' machinery. Top quality design, construction and component selection combined with outstanding service have earned IPAK a reputation for reliability, dependability and outstanding value. The IPAK product line also includes other machinery such as tray stackers, flange sealers, blank feed systems and more.

"Our focus always has been providing durable, high quality, cost-effective tray forming equipment," said Mike Mack, President of IPAK Machinery, Ltd. He added, "We have a large installed base of highly satisfied customers and I am pleased, as I believe our customers will be, that the IPAK product line will benefit from Wexxar's expertise and experience in corrugated. Combining with the resources of ProMach will ensure that our customers and the marketplace will have better access to our proven solutions and their inherent green, cost-saving features."
