IPAK Machinery Enhances TF-300CT S-Series Tray Former for Protein Packaging

Richmond, British Columbia, Canada – IPAK, powered by ProMach, unveils its new and improved TF-300CT S-Series tray former for protein packaging at Pack Expo Las Vegas. The enhanced TF-300CT delivers superior speed – up to 10 percent faster – for nearly 30 cases per minute, in a 24 percent smaller footprint, making it an ideal solution for meat and poultry producers looking for greater efficiency and layout flexibility in their packaging lines.
The TF-300CT S-Series for protein packaging is part of IPAK’s complete line of tray formers which leverage a new servo design and architecture to optimize tray and blank handling for quieter, faster output with less waste, and consistent tray forming for superior tray performance and aesthetics.
The TF-300CT includes an advanced 8-inch touch screen HMI for simple, user-friendly monitoring and fault diagnostics, machine adjustment and size changeovers. Changeovers are clearly defined and repeatable with preset tray recipes, color-coded dials and handles, and convenient on-machine instructions. Size changes typically are performed in less than 20 minutes. For more efficient and easy operation, ergonomics have been improved with a redesigned quick loading “right height” tray blank hopper.
For the TF-300CT, IPAK engineers focused specifically on the unique needs of protein packagers to create an easy to clean and maintain design with fewer surfaces and mechanical parts. The TF-300CT forms breaker style and column cases in either L-Corner or triangulated corner configurations. Formed trays include RSC style flaps or flange flaps for side sealing or no flaps creating a retail ready tray with rollover display window. Whether used for beef, pork, and poultry packing or bag-in-the-box applications the TF-300CT delivers high-performance, high-quality trays around the clock in even the most demanding environments.
