Tray Former TF-200XLA

The IPak TF-200XLA automatic tray packer was developed for a custom application that builds pallet loads of napkins utilizing two different sizes of pallet sized trays.

Tray size one is formed and advanced to a robot that places it on an empty pallet. The robot then builds a layer of packaged napkins. The TF-200XLA tray former then automatically adjusts to form a pre-programmed number of tray size two that the robot places under each successive layer of napkins. The TF-200XLA then automatically adjusts again to form tray size one that it flips 180 degrees prior to being advanced to the robot. The robot places the flipped tray as the lid on the pallet prior to stretch-wrapping.
