Tray Former TF-200CP
Product Overview
The IPak TF-200CP tray former forms a regular tray while simultaneously gluing a wooden corner post into each of the four corners of the tray. This tray former design is typically used in the stone industry.
The tray blank is picked from the hopper and, after receiving a signal that four corner posts are in position, is advanced past the glue guns and into the compression section. The mandrel begins its downward stroke, picks up the four corner posts, forms the tray, and pneumatic cylinders then compress the glue bond of the minor flaps and the corner posts. The tray is discharged upright with the four wooden corner posts securely glued into the corners.
The machine is equipped with five hoppers in each corner of the upper compression section to hold corner posts. When one hopper in each corner is emptied, the machine automatically shuttles to the next for continuous operation.
