Fully Automatic Tray Former - TF-350CF Overview

The IPak Model TF-350CF fully automatic tray former is designed and built to withstand the rigors of continuous, heavy-duty, applications. The TF-350CF automatically forms Common Footprint rollover or laminated side trays suitable for agricultural applications, including Defor, V-Corner (VPS), One Touch, and other similar tray styles as produced by most major corrugators for flat packs of fruits and vegetables. An easy changeover enables the TF-350CF to also form MUB style trays. It will continuously operate at speeds of up to 25 trays per minute and is fully adjustable to form various sizes and depths including full and half Common Footprint. Size changes are quick and easy, and can be performed in less than 15 minutes. Like all IPak machinery, the TF-350CF is known for reliability and dependability and is backed by IPak's friendly and knowledgeable service team.

Method of Operation

Die cut blanks are pulled by vacuum cups onto the lug and chain drive. Adhesive is applied, the blank is advanced and then impacted and folded by a forming mandrel. Forming plows then fold and compress the inner sidewall panels or top ledge panels and the finished tray is ejected upright onto a conveyor ready for filling.
